How much money will I spend in Granada?

According to the information students from past semesters shared with us, the money you will spend will depend on your travels and leisure time.

If you travel within Spain, the expenses will be less than if you travel in the rest of Europe.

On the other hand, study abroad programs usually have all expenses covered. From the moment the Orientation begins, class registration, accommodation, meals, travel, academic activities of the program are included. With the exception of expenses for school materials and your personal expenses: clothing, travel, tapas…

That said, and considering the answers of the majority of our students, we came out with some numbers in US Dollars. Some students spent more, but only a few students spent less. So, in one semester the expense could vary between $2,000 and $2,500 in the fall or about $3,500 and $4,500 in the spring. Note that the fall semester is a month and a half shorter than the spring semester.

And in the one-month summer program, the spending could range from $500 to $700.

Again, this will depend on the amount of travel you do, shopping, eating out, etc. during your time in Granada.
