With BSA you can choose to do an Internship program, praticipate in a volunteering or in an experiential learning.
Internship Program and course
Students who want to participate in the Internship program can apply to do it in Educational Centers or Social organizations. The level of Spanish required for these options is B1.2 or what it is the equivalent to students who have fulfilled the third or fourth semester of a college-level Spanish course (3 semester hours per course).
Those students who at least have the level B2.2 which corresponds to have completed the fifth or sixth semester or higher of a college-level Spanish course (3 semester hours per course), could also participate in an Internship in Companies or in Health Centers.
Service Learning and Volunteering
All program students have the option to collaborate in a volunteering or participate in an experiential learning . Those of you with a low level of Spanish will have access to fewer options.
Among the options, the ones that stand out are:
- Teaching English
- Physiotherapy
- Hospital accompaniment
- Occupational workshops in a center for disable people
- Language exchange with seniors
- Nursery
- Recycling
- Attention in sustainable store
Another option is at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Granada. In this case, you do not necessarily need to be enrolled in the Hispanic Studies or Spanish Language and Culture programs. Although the higher your level of Spanish, the better. What you do need is to be minor, or studying for it, in music. And you also have to know how to play an instrument well.
The other option is in Social Media Strategies. The requirements in this case are to have knowledge of social media. You will have to be familiarized with the production and edition of videos and photos. The other requirement is to have good knowledge of social media apps like Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
